Please identify which Plan Sheet contains this information.

Government Response: Refer to revised landscaping plans within this amendment.

Bidder Inquiry xx: Refer to drawing C-506, detail 1, note 2, where it is stated that the sluice gates shall be cast iron manufactured by Rodney Hunt. However, Spec Section 352226, specifies a different manufacturer and section 2.3 spells that “Cast iron Slide Gates and Flap-Gates shall not be Allowed”. Please clarify.

Bidder Inquiry 03: What is the contract pay limit for backfill that will be used to establish quantities for the unit price CLIN 005, Borrow Material? Will all required borrow material required to backfill the floodwall excavation, other than the toe drain sand, gravel and topsoil be paid under this item, or is there a limit beyond which it will not be measured and paid?

Government Response: Refer to Section 01 22 00.00 10 subparagraph 1.5.2.2 Measurement, “The total quantity of borrow material for which payment will be made will be measured by certified haul weight tickets divided by a representative unit weight of the material. The USACE certified laboratory, used for this purpose, will be hired and paid for by the Contractor.” Refer to FAR Clause 52.211-18 Variation in Estimated Quantity for additional information.
