About this file
This document is a Response to RFI #3 containing questions and answers related to tank inspection and strapping services at Camp Blanding, FL. The responses clarify that the contractor, not the facility, is responsible for depowering, removing, and reinstalling level alarms on tanks if necessary for inspection and strapping work. The document addresses confined space entry requirements, with USACE stating they cannot specify safety plan requirements as this is the contractor's responsibility. The facility confirms there is no available onsite storage for excess fuel during cleaning and strapping activities.
This Q&A document appears to be associated with solicitation W9128F25Q0030 for the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha, which involves STI inspections with strapping charts for three tanks at Camp Blanding, FL. The responses help clarify contractor responsibilities and site conditions for potential bidders.
