About this file
This is an installation questionnaire containing responses about three above-ground storage tanks (T3652 Tank 1, T3653 Tank 2, and T3654 Tank 3) at Camp Blanding, FL that require STI inspections. The document provides logistics and site information for contractors, including confirmation that the tanks are currently in service, have ladder/walkway access, and each tank has one 24-inch manway.
The file details specific requirements including CAC access requirements for base entry, contractor escort permissions, utility availability (water/electricity within 20 feet), and coordination needs for tank emptying. The installation will handle emptying the tanks and tank-to-tank transfer of remaining fuel. The tanks will be out of service during inspection, and new manway seals and strapping charts are required. There are no photography restrictions on site, and the tanks are located near B Avenue/Hollywood Street. Environmental POC information (904-682-3450) is provided for waste manifest requirements.
