Additional Question:
GP5 concrete pad drawing has been furnished, however, can you also furnish dimensions relative to WFC, i.e. centerlines and distance to wall where ducts connect to WFC.
Additional reference measurements provided below.
Additional questions:
* In “Answers #2” question 1, the round duct is stated to be 30” in diameter, but does not confirm that this is the I.D.
* In “Answers #1” question 6, the round duct is described as being 24” I.D. and 35” O.D.
Corrugated 30” tube goes through the earth filled bin wall. It was sleeved with a 24” ID stainless duct – the gap seems to be filled with insulation. The 24” ID continues through the bin wall into the exterior ducting. Outer wall of exterior ducts is ~35” OD.
Can you please clarify what appears to be a discrepancy between these two answers. Is the “round” duct the same size throughout?
* In “Answers #4, it is stated government is open to water cooled condensers.
Presuming this would be utilization of a cooling tower, what volume of water would be available on an ongoing basis for make‐up water? Would something in the range of 7‐10 GPM under worst case scenario be acceptable?
Existing RO system only supplies the current boilers. It cannot support that volume for a water tower.
Tap water on site should be capable of meeting that demand. We have other equipment using tap water for cooling tower purposes at other facilities.
* In “Answers #1, question 31, I am interpreting your answer as follows………….make‐up air will only berequired when chamber is operating in the ‐25F to +120F range. The make‐up air, presumably being supplied via a dryer comparable to the original Munters type unit can be at any temperature when exiting the dryer and be mixed with return air and conditioned to a final temperature of ‐25F to 120F prior to exciting the “ air mixing box” and entering the WFC. Dry air in any volume can be supplied at any time for any reason throughout the entire operating range of ‐65F to +165F.
Please confirm this is an accurate interpretation.
