The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Knox will seek to award a firm fixed-price contract with cost reimbursable elements to provide transition services to Soldiers according to Veterans Opportunity to Work to Hire Heroes Act standards, Army regulations, and site-specific directives. Services will include pre-separation counseling, transition planning, career skills support, education and employment assistance, and employer event support across CONUS and some OCONUS locations. The contract has a phase-in period of 60 days followed by one base year and four option years. The anticipated NAICS code is 624310 for vocational rehabilitation services up to $12 million. The acquisition is fully set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The draft request for proposal and technical exhibits were provided for industry review in advance of the formal solicitation planned for release within 30 days.
