This pre-solicitation notice seeks information from industry regarding an anticipated request for proposal from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Knox for soldier for life transition assistance program services. The contract will provide transition services to soldiers in accordance with all applicable regulations and directives at locations throughout the continental United States as well as overseas locations including Korea, Kuwait, Germany and Italy. Services will include operations at transition assistance facilities, counseling, career and financial planning advice, employment assistance, and event support. The acquisition will utilize a firm fixed-price contract with cost-reimbursable elements and utilize tradeoff best value source selection. The base period of performance is ten months with four twelve-month option periods. The contract is set aside entirely for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The government requests any questions or comments on the draft documents by November 5, 2019 and will consider input but not guarantee implementation.
