PART 1 GENERAL
1.1 PROJECT SCOPE
The Project is located within the City of Sacramento, California, along various segments of the Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) from just north of US 50 to just west of Freeport Blvd. The combined length of the levee segments to be remediated under this contract is approximately 3.0 miles.
The full scope of work is covered by the Plans and Specifications and other Contract Documents. The Contractor must furnish all labor, material, equipment, quality control and supervision required to complete the work.
The work includes, but is not limited to, providing and maintaining all temporary facilities; implementing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan requirements; complying with all applicable permit requirements and environmental mitigation measures for the Project; developing staging areas designated for Contractor's use to the extent needed; coordinating with Agencies and stakeholders as necessary; constructing cutoff walls, and berms in the locations shown on the Plans; researching, potholing, removing and replacing existing utilities as shown on the Plans and as needed to perform the work; protecting existing utilities, reusing excavated soils that meet specification criteria for reuse as levee fill; importing soil for levee fill as necessary; managing and disposing of excess excavated soils; removing all temporary facilities; and restoring and vegetating all disturbed areas.
The work required under the Contract must be completed within the Time of Completion specified in these documents.
Tree stumps to be removed by the Contractor are shown on the Plans. In several areas throughout the work site, trees may be present with branches overhanging the work area. Limited trimming of these overhanging branches can be conducted by the Contractor to the minimum extent necessary to facilitate construction activities. Trimming must be conducted in accordance with these Specifications. Further requirements for tree stump removal and trimming are located in Section 31 11 02 of the Technical Specifications.
Placement of excavated or fill materials into waters and wetlands outside of the project boundaries is strictly forbidden. Direct discharge of water into the Sacramento River will not be permitted. Contractor must develop plans for compliance with water quality standards for the Project.
1.2 PARTNERING
To most effectively accomplish this contract, the Government requires the formation of a cohesive partnership within the Project Team whose members are from the Government, the Contractor and their Subcontractors. Key personnel from the Supported Command, the End User (who will occupy the facility), the Government Design and Construction team and Subject Matter Experts, the Installation, the Contractor and Subcontractors, and the Designer of Record will be invited to participate in the Partnering
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 4 AMD-01 process. The Partnership will draw on the strength of each organization in an effort to achieve a project that is without any safety mishaps, conforms to the Contract, and stays within budget and on schedule.
The Contracting Officer will provide Information on the Partnering Process and a list of key and optional personnel who should attend the Partnering meeting.
Provide and host the Partnering sessions with key personnel of the Project Team, including Contractor personnel and Government personnel. Pay all costs associated with the Partnering effort including the Facilitator, the meeting room, and other incidental items. In exception, each participant bears their own costs for meals, lodging, and transportation associated with the Partnering sessions.
Before a Partnering session, coordinate with the Facilitator all requirements for incidental items (such as audio-visual equipment, easels, flipchart paper, colored markers, note paper, pens/pencils, colored flash cards), and have these items available at the Partnering session. Provide copies of documents for distribution to all attendees. Provide a Facilitator experienced in conducting Partnering Workshops, and who is acceptable to both the Government and the Contractor. The Facilitator is responsible for leading the team in a timely manner and making sure that issues are identified and resolved. A list of Partnering Facilitators is available from the Contracting Officer.
a. Schedule the Initial Partnering Session for a duration of one day minimum. Locate this session at a place off the construction site, as agreed to by the Contracting Officer and the Contractor. It may take place concurrently with the Pre-Construction Meeting.
b. Schedule follow-on Partnering Session(s) for a maximum of 4 hours.
Schedule them at no more than 3 to six month intervals. Participants are encouraged to utilize electronic means to expedite meetings.
Meetings may be held at a location off-Base, at the project site, or in a Government Facility on Base. Follow-on meetings may be held concurrently with other scheduled meetings. Attendees need only be those required to resolve current issues. Recommend using the same Facilitator from the Initial Partnering session to achieve best results and for continuity.
1.3 PAYMENT
No separate payment will be made for the work covered under this section and all costs in connection therewith will be considered a subsidiary obligation.

1.7.1 General
For information regarding specific Safety Requirements see Section 01 35 26 GOVERNMENTAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. Refer to EM 385-1-1, Contract Clauses, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Standards for Construction 29 CFR 1926; General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910; Title 8, General Industry Safety Orders (Cal-OSHA); and the National Fire Protection Association Codes are applicable to this contract. In case of conflict, the most stringent requirement of the standards is applicable.
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 7 AMD-01
1.7.2 The Prime Contractor's Superintendent
The Prime Contractor's superintendent must take an active role in enforcing the safety requirements by participation in safety conferences, hazard analysis (see below), tool box meetings, walk-through inspections, correction of violations, etc., and including that of the subcontractor's work.
1.7.3 Violations
If recurring violations and/or gross violation indicate that the safety performance is unsatisfactory, corrective action must be taken as directed, and at the discretion of the Contracting Officer the retention or some part thereof will be withheld from the progress payment until corrective action has been completed.
1.8 SECURITY
The project location may be particularly subject to vandalism. Materials left on-site are done so at the Contractors' risk, and if lost, at the Contractor's expense. Provide security for all the work including fencing. Particularly, construct and maintain the signs, including but not limited to, those necessary for Public Safety and Traffic Control, as required in the specifications. Replace those signs damaged or destroyed due to vandalism at no additional expense to the Government.
1.9 TIME EXTENSIONS FOR UNUSUALLY SEVERE WEATHER
This provision specifies the procedure for the determination of time extensions for unusually severe weather. In order for the Contracting Officer to award a time extension under this clause, the following conditions must be satisfied:
a. The weather experienced at the project site during the contract period is found to be unusually severe, that is, more severe than the adverse weather anticipated for the project location during any given month.
b. The unusually severe weather must actually cause a delay to the completion of the project. The delay is beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the Contractor.
1.9.1 Monthly Anticipated Adverse Weather Delays
The following schedule of monthly anticipated adverse weather delays is based on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) or similar data for the project location and will constitute the base line for monthly weather time evaluations. The Contractor's progress schedule must reflect these anticipated adverse weather delays in all-weather dependent activities.

Trucks cannot enter or exit the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant borrow area site between 7:00 am and 8:00 am and between 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday due to local peak commuting time restrictions.
1.12 BID ITEM OVERRUN
Throughout the contract (at a minimum, every five calendar days), monitor placement or installation of unit price items (if any) with respect to the original estimated quantities shown in the contract. If placement or installation indicates a possible overrun with respect to the original estimated quantities shown in the contract, immediately provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with revised total estimated
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 9 AMD-01 quantities.
1.13 WARRANTY OF CONSTRUCTION
(a) Performance Bond.
(1) It is understood that the Contractor's Performance Bond will remain effective throughout the life of all warranties and warranty extensions.
(2) In the event the Contractor or his designated representative fails to commence and diligently pursue any work required under the Warranty of Construction Section of the Technical Provisions within a reasonable time after receipt of written notification pursuant to the requirements thereof, the Contracting Officer has a right to demand that said work be performed under the Performance Bond by making written notice on the surety. If the surety fails or refuses to perform the obligation it assumed under the Performance Bond, the Contracting Officer will have the work performed by others, and after completion of the work, make demand for reimbursement of any or all expenses incurred by the Government while performing the work, including, but not limited to administrative expenses.
(3) Warranty repair work which arises to threaten the health or safety of personnel, the physical safety of property or equipment, or which impairs operations, habitability of living spaces, etc., will be handled by the Contractor on an immediate basis as directed verbally by the Contracting Officer or his authorized representative. Written verification will follow verbal instructions. Failure of the Contractor to respond as verbally directed will be cause for the Contracting Officer or his authorized representative to have the warranty repair work performed by others and to proceed against the Contractor as outlined in the paragraph (a)2 above.
(b) Pre-Warranty Conference. Prior to contract completion and at a time designated by the Contracting Officer or his authorized representative, meet with the Contracting Officer to develop a mutual understanding with respect to the requirements of SECTION 00 73 00 SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS, Paragraph, WARRANTY OF CONSTRUCTION, of this specification. Communication procedures for Contractor notification of warranty defects, priorities with respect to the type of defect, reasonable time required for Contractor response, and other details deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer or his authorized representative for the execution of the construction warranty will be established/reviewed at this meeting.
In connection with these requirements and at the time of the Contractor's quality control completion inspection, the Contractor will furnish the name, telephone number and address of a licensed and bonded company which is authorized to initiate and pursue warranty work action on behalf of the Contractor. This single point of contact will be located within the local service area of the warranted construction, will be continuously available, and will be responsive to Government inquiry on warranty work action and status. This requirement does not relieve the Contractor of any of his responsibilities in connection with Section 00 73 00 SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS, Paragraph, WARRANTY OF
CONSTRUCTION.
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 10 AMD-01
(c) Equipment Warranty Identification Tags. Provide warranty identification tags on all equipment installed under this contract.
(d) Contractor's Response to Warranty Service Requirements. The following warranty service requirements are applicable to this contract.
Following notification by the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer's Representative, respond to a warranty service requirement identified by the Contracting Officer's Representative in accordance with the "Warranty Service Priority List" of this program. This list prioritizes warranty work into the categories:
First Priority 1A: Perform on-site inspection to evaluate situation, determine course of action, initiate work within 24 hours and work continuously to completion or relief.
Second Priority 1B: Perform on-site inspection to evaluate situation, determine course of action, initiate work within 48 hours and work continuously to completion of relief.
Third Priority: All other work to be initiated within 5 work days and work continuously to completion or relief.
The "Warranty Service Priority List" is compiled by the Contractor and approved by the Contracting Officer.
Should parts be required to complete the work and the parts are not immediately available, provide the Contracting Officer's Representative with firm written proposals for emergency alternatives and temporary repairs for Government participation within 12 hours after arrival at the job site, and provide emergency relief until the required parts are available on site for the Contractor to perform permanent warranty repair. Include a firm date and time that the required parts can be available on site to complete the permanent warranty repair. The Contracting Officer's Representative will evaluate the proposed alternatives and negotiate the alternative considered to be in the best interest of the Government to reduce the impact of the emergency condition. Alternatives considered by the Contracting Officer's Representative will include the alternative for the Contractor to "Do Nothing" while waiting until the required parts are available to perform permanent warranty repair. Negotiating a proposal which will require Government participation and the expenditure of Government funds must constitute a separate procurement action by the using service.
(e) Government Retained Architect-Engineer (A/E). The Government may retain the services of an A/E to increase the level of confidence that the construction Contractor has complied with the requirements of the construction contract. The A/E's role in observing, monitoring or inspecting the activities of the construction Contractor is not intended in any way to require the A/E to assume any responsibility for the construction methods, means, techniques or procedures, including any health or safety requirements, be subjected to non-meritorious litigation relating to site accidents or other circumstances associated with the construction Contractor's activities. The A/E must be named as an additional insured on all comprehensive general liability insurance policies carried by the construction Contractor.
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 11 AMD-01
1.14 NON CONTRACT WORK
Do not perform any work or erect any structure for third parties, landowners or otherwise, within the limits of the rights-of-way without prior approval of the Contracting Officer.
1.15 DAMAGE TO ROADS
Preserve and protect all existing private or project access or right-of-way roads. At the completion of work and prior to leaving the project, restore to pre-project conditions all such roads and provide documentation of Haul Road Repairs. Repairs must include replacement of base rock and/or surface treatment as required. Refer also to paragraph PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC in section 01 50 00 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FACILITIES.
1.15.1 Documentation Regarding Potential Damage to Access Routes

The Government does not guarantee the reliability or accuracy of the hydrographs and will assume no responsibility for any deductions, conclusions, or interpretations that may be made from them. Undertake any such studies that are deemed necessary to assess the reliability and accuracy of the information presented in the hydrographs.
1.17.3 Project Security and Public Safety
Require all visitors to abide by all construction site safety requirements. Notify the Contracting Officer 48 hours before the commencement of any physical activities on the site. Site security and the protection of equipment and materials is the responsibility of the Contractor for the duration of the contract.
1.17.4 Lands and Right-Of-Way
The right-of-way within the limits for the construction of the Work and the designated staging areas, as shown on the Plans, will be provided by the Non-Federal Sponsor per Article III of the Project Partnership Agreement for use by the Government and for their Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining land rights and easements for areas to be used for the Contractor's own convenience outside the right-of-way, construction
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 14 AMD-01 limits, and designated staging areas shown on the Plans.
The right-of-way is partially occupied by existing facilities (railroad tracks, utilities, levee, etc). Contractor's use of the right-of-way is constrained as identified in the Drawings and Specifications and as needed for the protection of the existing facilities, the public, and the environment.
1.17.5 Horizontal and Vertical Control, Surveying
The Government will provide the locations of survey monuments and elevation benchmarks on the Plans that will be the basis for horizontal and vertical survey control for the Project. The Contractor must make all additional detailed surveys and measurements necessary for the construction of the work and for the measurement of quantities required for Contractor's periodic and final payment requests.
1.17.6 Locking Gates and Bollards
The Contractor must protect and operate the existing gates and bollards that control access to the Project right-of-way in conformance with Government requirements. These requirements include preventing passage through the gates of unauthorized persons and equipment during periods of Contractor use of the gates, and locking the gates every night and during non-construction periods.
1.17.7 Construction Access
The Contractor's construction access points to the staging areas and the job site by the Contractor's personnel and material and equipment deliveries is limited to those shown on the Plans and defined in the Specifications. The Contractor must not access the works areas where a road adjoins the construction limit unless it is designated as an access point in the Plans or Specifications. Paved areas at these controlled access points must be swept each day, or more frequently as required, by the Contractor to control dust and cleanup material tracked or spilled on said paved areas or roadways. Roadways on which construction workers are allowed to reach the specified access locations must also be as shown on the Plans or as approved by the Government. The Contractor's personnel must not park within 200-feet of a school. Two-way traffic flow must be maintained on arterial roadways accessing active work areas, unless otherwise allowed by the appropriate jurisdiction. Stockpiling of construction materials, including portable equipment, vehicles, and supplies, must be restricted to areas within designated construction limits or Contractor's own facilities.
The Contractor must conform to all governing codes, laws, and ordinances.
"Light vehicle" as used on the Plans must mean vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 8,500 lbs.
Contractor must use staging areas and the work area on the levee to stage or queue equipment and to establish material delivery and storage areas, including during off-work hours if needed. Contractor equipment and personnel, including haul vehicles delivering materials or equipment to the job site, may not idle, park, or stage in residential streets.
1.17.8 Public Access
The Contractor must provide 72-hour advance notification if access to driveways or private roads will be affected by Construction activities.
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 15 AMD-01
Access to these facilities must be continuous and unobstructed unless otherwise approved. Approved restrictions on driveway and private roadway access is limited to working hours and uninterrupted access to driveways and private roads must be provided during non-work hours.
Trucks may only be queued in areas and at times allowed by the appropriate jurisdiction.
Schedule Constraints Related to Access to Miller Park Facilities
Contractor must minimize impacts to public use of Miller Park and Sacramento Marina facilities. Public use of such facilities is heaviest between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend both included.
Contractor must prevent road or parking lot closures and minimize other restrictions or impacts to the public during this period of heaviest public use of the Park and Marina facilities. In addition, the boat ramp undergoes annual dredging, which typically occurs in mid-October but may be scheduled earlier in wet years that result in heavy sedimentation. The City of Sacramento transports dredge tailings from the Boat Ramp to the overflow parking area (located just south of Front Street and east of the railroad tracks) that has been designated as a potential staging area for Contractor use. Contractor's cutoff wall construction activities must be planned and coordinated with the City of Sacramento and scheduled in such a manner to avoid interference with the City's dredging operations and City's use of the staging area. The staging area will not be available for Contractor's use while the City is using it to stockpile dredge tailings.
Consequently, the following constraints apply to all construction activities in Miller Park and the Sacramento Marina facilities:
1. Contractor must complete utility relocations in the Miller park area before Labor Day 2020. Provide traffic control for utility relocations and preclude closures to Front Street with duration greater than 5 minutes.
2. Contractor must schedule cutoff wall construction and associated pavement reconstructions and storm drain relocations to begin after Labor Day weekend and during a period that does not conflict with the Sacramento Marina boat ramp dredging operations and the City's use of the staging area south of Front Street.
3. When working in the Miller Park and Sacramento Marina facilities, no work may occur during weekends or holidays.
4. Closures of vehicle access to Miller Park Circle and the parking spaces within the work area, except for the intersection with Front Street, are limited to two periods of one month each for utility relocations and cutoff wall construction respectively. The utility relocation closure period must end no later than May 22, 2020. The cutoff wall construction closure period may not begin until after Labor Day weekend and during dates coordinated with the City of Sacramento to avoid interference with dredging operations.
5. Contractor must allow continuous and uninterrupted pedestrian access to the Miller Park Marina gates and piers throughout the utility relocation and cutoff wall construction periods.
6. Front Street must remain open at all times during construction.
7. Contractor must provide traffic-rated steel plates, barricades and other measures to enable safe traffic access across the cutoff wall work area during the cutoff wall construction period prior to reconstruction of the pavement.
Contractor must provide public notice by appropriate means, such as
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 16 AMD-01 internet postings, letters, or telephone calls, to emergency service providers, the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way, Sacramento CA 95818, phone 916-808-5712), and the public at least 72 hours prior to all road closures and detours. In addition, Contractor must coordinate with the manager of the Sacramento Marina on the daily activities on a daily basis and provide weekly work schedule in advance of each week when working in Miller Park.
1.17.9 Noise Control
The Contractor must comply with the provisions of this Section of the Contract Documents to avoid and minimize noise impacts from the construction activities. The Contractor must comply with City of Sacramento Noise Control Ordinance and other applicable requirements. In addition, the following measures must be implemented to limit noise:
Prohibit the start-up of machines or equipment and engine braking prior to 7 a.m. and after 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Locate stationary construction equipment, such as compressors, away from nearby residential areas to the extent practical and provide acoustical shielding.
Minimize idling times of equipment either by shutting equipment off when not in use or by reducing the maximum idling time to 5 minutes.
Prohibit idling of construction equipment and delivery trucks in residential streets.
Locate and use equipment as far away as practical from noise-sensitive uses.
Use electrically powered equipment instead of internal combustion equipment where practicable and feasible.
Provide written notification to the potentially affected residents, identifying the type, duration, and frequency of construction activities within 1,000 feet of residences prior to construction. Notification materials must also identify a mechanism for residents to register complaints with the appropriate jurisdiction if construction noise levels are overly intrusive or construction occurs outside the permitted hours.
Locate fixed construction equipment (e.g., compressors and generators), construction staging and stockpiling areas, and construction vehicle routes as far as practical from noise-sensitive receptors.
Use noise-attenuating buffers such as structures, truck trailers, or soil piles between noise generation sources and sensitive receptors, where feasible and particularly in locations subject to prolonged construction.
1.17.10 Valley Elderberry Longhorn Beetle
The Contractor must comply with the following requirements:
- The Contractor must fence (orange plastic fence, unless otherwise required by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Biological Opinion) elderberry shrubs that are designated to be protected on the Plans or as directed by the Contracting Officer. Where feasible, fencing must be placed at the edge of a one hundred (100) foot buffer around the drip line of the shrub. Smaller buffers may be established as necessary, such as adjacent to levee degrade areas, within and adjacent to staging
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 17 AMD-01 areas, and adjacent to haul routes, as approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or Government. The Contractor's biologist must mark the locations of shrubs in the field and work with the Contractor to establish appropriate fence placement. All protected elderberry shrubs and associated buffers must be avoided by all construction personnel.
The Contractor must install signs every fifty (50) feet along the perimeter of the avoidance area identifying the area as habitat for the beetle.
- No insecticides, herbicides, or other chemicals that might harm the Valley Elderberry Longhorn Beetle or Elderberry shrubs must be used within 100 feet of the elderberry shrubs or the fenced areas.
- Several elderberry shrubs within or immediately adjacent to grading limits will be removed and relocated by others under separate contract as shown on the Plans.
- If any elderberry shrubs not identified by the Government or on the Plans are encountered within grading areas, the Contractor must notify the Contracting Officer immediately to arrange for their removal and relocation by others.
1.17.11 Provisions Regarding Maintaining Minimum Flood Protection During Construction
The Contractor must not begin activities that reduce the level of flood protection, as determined by the Government, prior to April 15. In addition, the Government may determine, based on reservoir and river stages, weather conditions, snowpack estimates, and/or forecasted river levels, that levee degrade operations may need to be delayed beyond April
15. Contractor must receive Government's written approval of the date of levee degrade initiation before proceeding with levee excavation.
The Contractor must complete the cutoff walls and reconstruct the levee and complete all levee improvements planned for the construction season by November 1 by September 30.
Contractor must monitor actual and forecasted water levels in the Sacramento River and upstream tributaries daily, and must be prepared to respond to forecasted high water conditions in a proactive manner. In the event high water is forecasted, the Contractor must restore the levee line and grade to provide a minimum of three feet of freeboard above the maximum forecast river stage and take precautions to secure and protect the Work and the site against damage during passage of the flood. In addition, Contractor must remove personnel, materials, equipment, and temporary facilities from within the floodway at least 24 hours before the water level is predicted to reach the work areas or waterside staging areas.
Prior to mobilizing to the site and at least 15 days prior to any levee excavation, Contractor must submit a Flood Contingency Response Plan. The plan will include a schedule with clearly defined date of levee degrade initiation, interim construction stages, and completion dates, and a flood emergency contingency plan to be implemented by the Contractor in the event the water surface elevation of the Sacramento River is forecasted by the State-Federal Flood Forecast Center to increase significantly for any reason. Specific items to be addressed must include but not be limited to the following:
- The Flood Contingency Plan must outline the contingency operations in
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 18 AMD-01 the event that river elevations are forecasted to rise above "Construction Flood Stage" defined as the river stage at Elevation 23 feet as measured at the I Street gauge ( https://www.cnrfc.noaa.gov/graphicalRVF.php?id=SACC1) unless otherwise defined by the Government.
- The contingency plan must include the length of levee to be degraded at any one time and the proposed measures to protect the landside areas that have a reduced level of protection due to construction activities.
- Schedule for construction activities that will result in the temporary reduction of the flood protection afforded by the existing levee, such as the temporary lowering of the levee crest.
- Schedule for construction activities that will occur in the floodplain and list of equipment and materials that will be located within the floodplain.
- A description of how precipitation and river level forecasts and actual levels will be monitored at the site, including the names of the persons responsible for monitoring the river levels and forecasts and how they will communicate with construction staff and the Government.
- The measures to be undertaken before, during and after a significant rainfall or flood event, including information on how equipment or stockpiles within the flood plain will be removed or secured if their removal is impractical.
- Identification of contingency actions, procedures and specific time factors for:
o River stage monitoring, and flood warning protocols and procedures o Communication channels and command structure for flood preparation and fighting activities o Materials and equipment available for implementation of the contingency plan, including location(s) of borrow source(s) that the Contractor will use to implement the plan and existing locations, types and quantities of stockpiled emergency materials o Securing the site during floods.
The Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to stop excavation and to begin continuous operations to complete all partially completed section(s) of the levee embankment, the slurry cutoff wall including capping layers, and berms.
In the event of a flood emergency requiring action by the jurisdictional flood control agencies (City of Sacramento, DWR Maintenance Area 9, USACE, CVFPB, California Governor's Office of Emergency Services) prior to completion of the work, the Government has the right to suspend the work until the emergency is resolved and to take over the project site to conduct flood protection and/or fighting activities as may be necessary.
1.17.12 Coordination with Pioneer Reservoir
Pioneer Reservoir is a wastewater treatment plant operated by the City of Sacramento and located landside of the levee between approximate Stations
SECTION 01 00 00 Page 19 AMD-01
1096+00 and 1102+00. Construction requires working inside the Pioneer Reservoir facility for construction of a drained stability berm. Contractor must coordinate and cooperate with the Government and City on use of the facility and protection of structures and appurtenances. Contractor must take all necessary precautions to prevent any damage to the facility.
Should damage or injury occur as a result of the Contractor's operations, the Contractor must repair or replace such damaged facilities to the City and Government's satisfaction at the Contractor's expense.
