About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation W911QY-25-R-A010, which involves rewriting the Technical Manual (TM) for the Chemically Protected Deployable Medical System (CP DEPMEDS). The contract requires updating the existing TM to reflect changes in maintenance philosophy, equipment components, and hospital configuration, including transitioning from a four-level to a two-level maintenance approach compliant with MIL-STD 40051-2. Key technical updates involve replacing legacy equipment with modern components such as the TEMPER Airbeam Supported shelter system, JECP 6-ton Environmental Control Unit, 400 CFM Fan Filter Assembly, Multi-Person Airlock, and updated chemical/biological protective liners.
The contract is with the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, with a one-year period of performance starting from a projected 30 June 2025 award date and final TM delivery expected in early June 2026. No security clearance is required, and the work is expected to be performed remotely. The solicitation involves transitioning from legacy Medical Re-engineering Initiative (MRI) hospital configurations to modern Force Design Update (FDU) configurations, which changes the set sizes from three (40-bed, 44-bed, 164-bed) to four (32-bed HUB, 24-bed Surgical Augment, 32-bed Medical Augment, 60-bed Intensive Care Ward). Pricing is open, with the government requesting contractors submit their best pricing without a specified not-to-exceed amount.
