About this file
This document contains a Technical Information Questionnaire (TIQ) and description of a federal contract opportunity for Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) equipment.
The TIQ requests information from offerors on 11 items of fitness equipment that comprise one ACFT equipment set. Offerors must indicate whether their products meet specifications and requirements for each item listed in Section C of the solicitation, and provide substantiating data. The items include a hexagon bar, bumper plates totaling 550 pounds, barbell collars, a sled with pull strap, 10-pound medicine balls, 40-pound kettlebells, and metric measuring tapes. After procuring the individual items, the contractor will package each complete set in a single storage crate.
The opportunity will be a 100% small business set-aside for an IDIQ contract with an ordering period and a firm fixed price. The Army expects to award a single contract by March 2019 to acquire between 26,000 to 30,000 ACFT equipment sets. Deliveries must be in-hand to Army units by October 1, 2019, with phased deliveries starting no later than April 2019. The Army will utilize GBL for delivery. Questions are only accepted after release of the solicitation.
