About this file

This document contains answers to questions from an Industry Day event for a federal contract opportunity to operate the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The opportunity will involve the production of small caliber ammunition beginning in fiscal year 2020. The Industry Day was hosted by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems, and the Joint Munitions Command at the Adams Pointe Conference Center on October 18, 2017 and at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant on October 19, 2017. The answers provided asset details that will transfer to the contractor, note that cost data for specific operations are proprietary, and indicate that maintenance records are available but the government does not own rights to the current Computerized Maintenance Management System software.
