Questions and Answers 3 21 September 2026

Q1: Do we need to build a containment in the adjacent room next to the contaminated room or just put air machines in the adjacent room.

A1: Put scrubbers in adjacent room. No containment in adjacent room.

Q2: To get the negative pressure we will need to be able to put the poly from floor to deck. The ceiling grid will prevent us from doing that on the four walls. The ceiling grid will need to be demoed because we will have to clean up in the ceiling. We will have to wipe down and Hepa vac all items about the ceiling. Is removing and reinstalling the ceiling grid acceptable?

A2: Ceiling grid treatment addressed in previous question. Ceiling grid shall not be demoed. See SOW for instructions on ceiling. SOW p.5, Sec 2.1.1: Remove ALL ceiling tiles for disposal. (NOTE: Existing Clg Grid to remain in service.)

Q3: Is the GWB where ceiling grid is attached to remain? The GWB could possibly have mold in it and don’t recommend leaving it. This was mentioned in the visit.

A3: All drywall shall be demolished and disposed of. Ceiling grid treatment addressed in previous) question.
