About this file

This document provides specifications for two federal construction projects. The first project involves modifying an existing lightning protection system at a Tennessee Air National Guard facility to accommodate new rooftop mechanical equipment. Work includes installing new air terminals, bonding connections, and copper conductors. Materials must match the existing system, and the modified system requires recertification.

The second project is a solicitation to renovate an approximately 12,400 square foot building at the same Tennessee Air National Guard facility into a deployment processing center, physical fitness center, and administrative offices. Renovations include selective demolition, new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, flooring, fire suppression and alarm systems. The 100% small business set-aside contract has a value between $1-5 million and a 365 day period of performance. The pre-bid conference and site visit will be scheduled after solicitation release on BetaSAM.gov. Questions are due five days before the pre-bid conference, and bids are due on the date specified in the solicitation. The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million.
