However, in addition to nitrogen storage bottles that are part of the system, the manufacturer advises that several feet of clearance is needed for the generator. Please advise if any of these components can be or should be relocated, as this appears to require more than just field coordination and will impact that amount of SS tubing required for connection.

Response: Designed acknowledges potential conflict. Refer to revised drawing sheet P2.2 for revised notional configuration. Contractor will be required to field verify all dimension and coordinate equipment sizes and clearances for all equipment intended for installation with the manufacturer selected by the bidder to furnish the equipment required to meet the design intent and requirements.

12) Question: Sheet P2.1 shows a direct buried fuel spill storage tank. Is there a Civil or outside drawing showing where this is to be located in reference to the site? Response: Drawing sheet P2.1 is accurate regarding the location of the tank relative to required piping lengths etc… See screenshot below for overlay of the plumbing drawing with the existing base utility map. As indicated in the screenshot, the new plumbing and vent piping will cross one known existing water utility. The Government will locate utilities and provide a dig permit prior to excavation. Contractor will be required to pothole and verify depth of existing water utility in order to field verify and coordinate exact tank placement and depth to coordinate with existing water utility.

Response: The intent of this is to prevent existing and new systems from being used for construction ventilation. Existing and new systems may be operated to regulate temperature and humidity provided adequate filtration of each system is provided. Contractor shall provide dedicate point of use ventilation systems to adequately ventilate construction activities (i.e. welding, sanding, etc…).

Response: The design intent is to match the slope of the existing standing seam metal roof assembly. However, the Contractor shall coordinate the existing conditions with the metal roofing system manufacturer to ensure the manufacturer’s minimum slopes required to furnish all specified warranties are maintained.

59) Question: M1.1: Note #5 & 12: the demo plans & new work plans do not seem to be the same. We can not determine the intent. The plan notes do not correspond to plans Note # 8 : provide louver sizes & schedule #10 : provide existing louver sizes #11 : provide opening sizes required

Response: Refer to Addendum No. 3. Notes 5 & 12 have been clarified in the revised plan. Contractor to field verify existing louver sizes.
