TVWF Site Visit – Registration Information and Directions The site visit will be conducted on Wednesday, May 31st 2023 at 2:00PM EDT.

In order to register for the site visit, please provide the following information to Deb Olivieri by email at deborah.l.olivieri.civ@army.mil and Dave DeCandia at david.j.decandia.civ@army.mil.

1) The first and last name of each visitor.

2) The name of your company/business entity.

3) Vehicle make, model, and license plate number. If you intend to travel in a rental vehicle, and do not know, just indicate “rental”.

Note: It would also be helpful to make a sign with your company name by printing or handwriting it onto a standard sheet of printer paper, pad, piece of cardboard, paper napkin, etc. (whatever you have on hand) in lettering large enough to read from about 10 feet away. Once you arrive at the motor pool compound, place it on the dashboard so that your vehicle can be easily identified by the Government representative.

Driving Directions.

-Picatinny Arsenal is located in New Jersey at the Rockaway, Wharton, and Jefferson, juncture. The main entrance is a two-lane thoroughfare just off of Route 15 North. When exiting off of Route 15 North and into the main entrance (this becomes Parker Road once on post), stay in the left lane, and take the very first turning lane and make a left into the parking lot of the visitor control center.

-After obtaining your visitor badge and vehicle pass, exit the parking lot and make a left back onto Parker Road towards the security checkpoint guard shack and canopy. Depending on the actual time of arrival, you may be inspected at the guard shack, or directed to the canopy for inspection (be sure to follow the signs for non-CAC holders).

-After inspection, continue on Parker Road through the canopy. In approximately one mile, Parker Road will open into two lanes. Move into the left lane, and you will eventually come to a traffic light. Continue straight through the traffic light, and remain on Parker Road. You will arrive at a three-way intersection.

-At the stop sign, make a left onto Farley Avenue. Continue on Farley Avenue, eventually coming to a four-way intersection. Make the right onto Reilly Road. Take the left-hand fork in the road, which runs parallel to the motor pool compound (you will see a large blue building to your left within the compound, which is the existing building 242 vehicle wash).

-Make the first left just before the guard shack/checkpoint (DO NOT proceed through the guard shack/checkpoint). This will be the driveway/parking area of building 240.

-The parking area of building 240 is on the opposite side of the driveway from the motor pool compound. Maneuvering space is ample in this area, so it is preferred that you to back in so that a representative may be able to identify your vehicle by the paper sign (on the dashboard).

-We respectfully ask that any questions generated as a result of the site visit be subsequently submitted to the contracting office in writing. Responses will be published via SAM.gov in the form of a Q&A or a formal solicitation amendment.

-Please feel free to arrive with measuring tools to record any dimensions you deem necessary. Photographs will be permitted, but only of the interior of the building.
