About this file
This document contains a vehicle inspection report template to be used by contractors performing work for the Federal Highway Administration Western Federal Lands Highway Division. The template requires inspectors to record weather conditions, inspection equipment used, areas of the vehicle that were inspected, and results of the inspection. Inspectors are directed to check boxes to indicate if areas of the vehicle are clean, and to note "NA" if an area is not applicable. The vehicle inspection report template lists over 30 specific areas of vehicles that must be inspected, including the undercarriage, tires, spare tire area, grills, brakes, transmissions, beds, interiors, and accessories. Inspectors must also record the previous location of the vehicle as well as make, model and serial number. The related federal contract opportunity is for rehabilitation of East Rim Drive in Oregon and is offered as full and open competition with solicitation documents attached.
