About this file
This document is a State Form SBP-6.18 issued by the State of Colorado Office of the State Architect State Buildings Program, specifically focused on a Direct Labor Burden Calculation for the University of Colorado Boulder. The form is designed to be submitted for review prior to executing a construction agreement, requiring contractors to detail their labor burden percentages, which include various employee benefits like taxes, pension costs, health and dental insurance. The associated state and local contract opportunity involves the complete removal and replacement of parking lot 548, which encompasses approximately 70,000 square feet.
The labor burden calculation form mandates that contractors provide a comprehensive breakdown of their labor burden costs, with the percentage to be agreed upon by both the contractor and the Principal Representative. The form will be included as part of Exhibit A in the contract and will be utilized for calculating future Change Order Proposals. Major subcontractors such as electricians, plumbers, mechanical contractors, and others must submit individual Labor Burden Calculation Sheets. The state reserves the right to request additional confirmation of the information provided in these calculations, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the labor cost documentation.
