About this file

This document is an Optional Pre-Quote Conference PowerPoint Presentation for a state and local contract opportunity, T2931 - Custom Farm Services for Field Operations - DEP (Supplemental), issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The contract covers reclamation operations, including side-arm mowing and commercial grade mowing, with the North, Central, and South regions of the state having separate price sheets. Vendors must provide unit pricing for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 for each service category within a selected region to be eligible for award. Questions and Answers are due by 2 pm on August 12, 2021, and Quotes are due by 2 pm on September 16, 2021.

The presentation reviews the bid solicitation requirements, including the need for vendors to be registered in NJSTART, the completion of all mandatory forms and registrations, and the proper way to complete the state-supplied price sheet. It also highlights potential "price sheet pitfalls" to avoid, such as leaving price lines blank, making formatting changes, or adding additional language or fees. Vendors must have a valid Public Works Contractor Registration at the time of the Quote due date, as well as any engaged subcontractors.
