Yes. Prior to the Quote Opening Deadline, a Vendor {Bidder} should review the documents comprising the submitted Quote to ensure that all of the required documents have been completed and attached. Section 4.4.1.8

Public Works Contractor Registration I am interested in submitting a quote. However, the turn around time for the receipt of the public works registration is 30 days, not including any delays due to COVID. Therefore, I am seeking an extension of 4-6 weeks to the 9/16/21 quote due date to allow for those of us that need to register to public works adequate time to receive our approval.

The State agrees to extend the Quote Submission Due Date. The Revised Quote Submission Due Date is October 28, 2021 (2:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

Section 4.4.1.8

Public Works Contractor Registration Our company plans to submit a bid for T2931 - Custom Farm Services for Field Operations - DEP (Supplemental) #21DPP00650 due September 16. We are having some difficulty solidifying a proper apprenticeship program because our business focuses on agroecology and does not seem to fit with anything currently offered. We have submitted a suggested program outline to Dept of Labor and have a ZOOM call with them tomorrow to discuss. This program is required to obtain the NJ Dept of Public Works certificate necessary to submit this bid. Last year when we applied, we noted that we had applied to Public Works yet had not received the certificate yet, therefore, we were denied the opportunity.

I am writing you about this because I am expecting that we WILL get our apprenticeship program and public works certificate, yet it might not be in time to submit our bid for September 16. The apprenticeship program could take a few more weeks and public works says they can take up to 30 days. Is there a way to extend the bid submission by 1 month?

Please refer to the answer to Question #3.

Section 4.4.5

State-Supplied Price Sheet I plan on printing out the required price sheets and filling them out by hand, then scanning them to upload with my submission. However, they do not seem to be formatted properly when I print them out.

The Procurement Bureau has confirmed that the State-Supplied Price Sheets are formatted to print correctly. Please check your program and printer settings if you are having issues printing out the State-Supplied Price Sheet(s).

The Procurement Bureau notes that Vendors {Bidders} also have the ability to fill out the State-Supplied Price Sheet(s) on their computers and attach the document(s) to their Quotes without needing to print out the documents, if preferable.

Please refer to the NJSTART Vendor Support Page at the following web address: https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/purchase/vendor.shtml

If you are still having issues, please contact NJSTART Vendor Support at njstart@treas.nj.gov for assistance.
