About this file
This document is an optional pre-quote conference presentation for a state and local contract opportunity in New Jersey issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for Non-Emergency Remedial Action Services (NERAS), Contract No. 24DPP00939. The contract will serve Mercer County and the City of Trenton. The purpose of the conference is to address procedural questions regarding the bid solicitation and quote submission requirements, not the scope of work. The bid solicitation will be reviewed section by section, with a focus on mandatory submission requirements such as forms, technical approach, schedules, resumes, firm experience, financial capability, and price sheet instructions. Quotes are due by 2pm on April 17, 2024, and any questions are due by 2pm on March 15, 2024.
The presentation provides guidance on completing the price sheet correctly, including mandatory requirements and common pitfalls to avoid, such as leaving price lines blank, making formatting changes, or adding additional language or fees. Vendors are reminded to review the bid solicitation in its entirety, submit any exceptions or questions prior to the deadline, and address all mandatory requirements in their quotes. Failure to do so could result in a quote being deemed non-responsive.
