About this file

The document is a set of Standard Specifications and Details for Public Improvements from the City of Tucson and Pima County, specifically the 2003 edition. These specifications are incorporated into contract documents and are available for purchase from Duck Press Media Solutions in Tucson, Arizona. The document provides a comprehensive list of errata and revisions to the original standard specifications, covering various technical and procedural updates across multiple sections including labor costs, equipment rentals, force account work, manhole frame resets, construction materials, and technical requirements.

The revisions address specific technical details such as adjusting labor and travel allowance rates, modifying equipment rental payment calculations, updating subcontractor markup procedures, and revising specifications for tension wire coatings, aggregate composition, and manhole frame resets. Key changes include limiting subsistence and travel allowance rates to state-published levels, establishing a 0.933 adjustment factor for equipment rental rates, allowing a 10% markup for outside rented equipment, and specifying precise coating weight requirements for tension wire and fabric fasteners. These modifications appear designed to provide clearer guidance, improve cost management, and standardize technical specifications for public improvement projects.
