QUESTIONS ANSWERS

Please clarify that IUID is required on each individual item in each kit.

IUID markings are required for the kit and any component over $5k.

A MOQ of 50ea is mentioned. If only this amount is awarded, will early and partial quantity shipments be accepted?

Accelerated delivery at no additional cost to the Government is acceptable.

There is a large difference in manufacturing costs for a MOQ of 50ea and a maximum quantity for the first year of 213 kits, or a total three-year quantity of 435 kits. Is the quantity of 50 kits all the USG can commit to, or can it be higher?

The Government anticipates to purchase more kits than the minimum of 50.

According to our records, and as per the new BOM received 9 Aug, we are still missing drawings for part numbers:

13105325, 13105329, 10875599, 12307264, 13065620, 8690469, and 8690480. Please advise when these will be made available. Otherwise, we think we now have the rest of the package.

All of the missing drawings have been identified and made available via this amendment. In place of bracket drawing 13105329, utilize and price drawing 13074643. In place of drawing 13105325, utilize and price drawing 13074639.

According to our records all of the hardware part numbers beginning with “AES”, and “M” have AMSC codes of G. Will these drawings be furnished as well?

The “AES, AEN, AEW” series of fasteners listed in the BOM are ASME specifications for environmentally compliant hardware. All necessary drawings have been issued.

As we read the RFP there isn't a clear understanding of how FAT will be conducted. Will the USG require a standalone FAT? If so we would like to request that have a separate cost on the USGs cost card.

First Article Inspection documentation :

- Dimensional Report per the drawing

- Material Certifications for all subcomponents

- Coating Certifications and test results on brackets(if applicable)

- Continuity Test Report for first harness

- Performance Test Results (if applicable)

- Weld Inspection Report (if welds are present on bracket drawing)

- Ballistic Testing / Certification for First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) for the armored enclosure housing B-kit LRUs.

Offeror reports it has been found that part numbers in this kit have many NSNs that fall within the called-out part number.

"Advise if you have a preferred or approved Manufacturer that is required to procure this material. I have attached a few part numbers/NSN examples along with my line card for your perusal."

USG will not direct or recommend subcontractor - procure IAW drawings.

In response to the additional A-kit drawings, offeror asks will any of the drawings be available in CAD? Such as a .stp format?

A full CAD model package will become available after award.

Will the proposal due date be extended?

There will be no extension provided. The proposal due date will remain August 26, 2024, at

12PM CST.
