1.0 Background

1.1 DLA Troop Support’s Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) directorate provides continuous support to the Pentagon through a Tailored Logistics Services, Prime Vendor TLS PV program operating via a “storefront” operation located onsite at the Pentagon. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines for the contractor the effort to consolidate the procurement, storage, accountability, distribution, and disposal of MRO industrial goods in support of the Pentagon under the MRO Northeast Zone 1 contract.

2.0 Scope

2.1 The purpose of this Statement of Work is to consolidate supply, distribution, management and disposal activities for MRO industrial goods provided via the Pentagon storefront.

Contractor operations include the procedures necessary for procurement and distribution of MRO supplies to include: the staffing of an on-site warehouse, the provision of 'walk-up' service for Government customers, the distribution and delivery of products to satellite distribution points, and the proper management of MRO industrial products exceeding the shelf life limitations contained herein. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, transportation, personal protective equipment (PPE), phone, and mail service required for the performance of these services with the exceptions found in the below section entitled "Government Furnished Property.” This work specification establishes the Government's MRO industrial Supplies and Distribution support. Support shall consist of all necessary processes to facilitate the full range of MRO Supplies and Distribution at the Pentagon. The contractor will serve as the single source for material supplied by numerous vendors for the Pentagon.
