II. INSTALLATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

A. DYESS AFB

(1) INTRODUCTION

Dyess AFB supports the world-wide mission with two specialized aircraft fleets; bombers and special operations. Fuels Management enables those missions by providing aviation fuel to all B-1B Lancer and C-130 frames stationed on site. In addition, there are NAOC and reserve missions that are supported intermittently throughout the year. The contract here provides receipt and storage capabilities by providing personnel and equipment as well as performing operational maintenance on the storage facilities.

(2) HOURS OF OPERATION

Normal hours for fuels operations are identified below. Contractor must be capable of providing 24 hours x 7 days per week PWS coverage when required including for weather, natural disaster, exercise, or other contingency operations.
