(4) BASE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

During extreme cold weather, a Wing Commander two man policy is issued for all personnel working on Minot AFB. Once the temperature drops below negative 5 degrees Fahrenheit, it is mandatory to have two people perform any tasks to be performed outside.

Storage contractor here on Minot AFB is responsible for delivering Diesel Fuel, Unleaded Gasoline, and Aviation Fuel to all Missile Alert Facilities and Launch Facilities spanning the 8,500 Square Mile Missile Complex.

No notice aircraft generations in support of USSTRATCOM objectives/24 hour ground servicing operations utilizing C-300’s along with JAA ground support for AGE equipment. The only re-supply capability for our mobile SSTA vehicles is located in the fuels bulk storage complex. This puts a major strain on our ability to support the mission due to the contract hours being 0700-1600 local. Furthermore, 3 of 5 aviation fill stands are located in the bulk storage complex. Once storage has left for the day, any R-11 fills must utilize hydrants which adds an extra 20-30 minutes to our response time in support of aircraft generations.

(5) FACILITIES

The following on-site installation facilities may be used by the Contractor in performance of the PWS tasks. The facilities may be changed, by the local installation, from time to time to meet mission requirements. The Contractor will be notified prior to any change of location.
