About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for a multifunctional device lease contract in Germany. The Defense Logistics Agency seeks to lease 305 multifunctional devices for up to 60 months to support the Army, Air Force, Marines, and DOD throughout Germany. The base period is only two months due to the fiscal year calendar. Refurbished devices may be acceptable if they pass technical evaluation. Quantities listed are subject to typographical errors and should be confirmed. Devices must be sent to the United States for testing within five business days of award. The contract replaces an expiring lease held by an incumbent, but TAA compliance was not previously required. Offerors should ensure any updated proposals meet the solicitation's expectations. The customer network will provide server connectivity but no servers will be installed by the vendor.

This contract replaces an expiring MFD contract.
You are not responsible for the terming MFDs as the previous contract vendor will remove the old devices.
8 Solicitation
Could you provide us with the incumbent contract number that holds the terming serial numbers present on the delivery sheet for
SP7000‐22‐Q‐1002? We would specifically like to know who the incumbent contractor is, what makes and models are deployed already, and whether or not those devices meet the
TAA requirement on the current PWS.
This contract replaces the expiring MFD contract number SP7000‐17‐P‐0019, 305 devices are being replaced with this action. TAA compliance was not a requirement during this contract.
9 Solicitation
If our offer has already been successfully submitted, should we prepare a new offer with the above changes?
Please insure offered devices meet the expectations of the solicitation. If you feel the need to make a change to your currently posted offer in the PIEE
Solicitation module, you will need to contact the helpdesk for the module to determine the process.
Any changes made before close date and time will be reviewed and evaluated.
We need a server where the programs can be uploaded. Do you provide the servers in every location? And are the devices connected with every army base in Germany or in between each base only?
The devices would operate on the customer’s network, which would include the server space. The vendor would not install any servers. The customer would provide the vendor with the connection information.
