About this file
This modification amends a solicitation for hazardous waste removal and disposal services at the Defense Logistics Agency in Richmond, Virginia. The incumbent contractor's largest generator, a hazardous material storage mission, is relocating from Richmond to San Joaquin, California. Revised order volumes are provided for the past 30 months to reflect this change, and offerors are cautioned that volumes will be lower under the new contract. A question was asked about requiring minimum order quantities for drum pickups due to varying low truckload delivery fees, but the amendment states that requirement cannot be accommodated at this time. The solicitation number, agency, and other details remain unchanged.

I. Amendment 0001 is issued to answer the following questions:
1) Can you please provide the order history for Richmond SP450019D0006? 30 months would be ideal, as that is the amount of time in each option.
Answer: Please see the attached order history for the current Richmond contract SP450019D0006 for the past 30-month period of June 15, 2021 through December 15, 2023. Offerors are cautioned that one of the largest generators on this current contract, the hazardous material storage mission, is leaving the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) (DOODAC SHR002) and relocating to San Joaquin, California (Contract 20-D-0012). Consequently, the ordered numbers in this order history will be higher than in the resulting new contract for Richmond. These changes are reflected in the new price schedule.
2) Can a minimum order be required for drum orders? The LTL delivery fee can vary greatly and is more easily spread out over an order of 10 or 15 containers as opposed to just one.
Answer:
No, this is not a change that can be accommodated at this time.
II. All other solicitation requirements remain unchanged.
