This information is necessary to provide data required for Government documentation and retention. |

7.2 This DID may be applied to programs or projects during Material Solution Analysis (MSA), Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction (TMRR), Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production & Deployment (P&D), and Operations & Support (O&S) phases of the Defense Acquisition Life Cycle.

| 10 PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: 10.1 Format: The data must be in the Contractor's design unless otherwise specified on the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL / DD Form 1423). Unless stated otherwise on the CDRL, the deliverable to the Government must be provided in digital format and viewable using the latest version of AutoCAD, Adobe, or Microsoft Office software products as applicable. |
10.2 Layout Drawings: The Contractor must provide drawings of the proposed solution and its system. Drawings must be 1/8 inch scale and show equipment and location in relation to existing structural features, position, and horsepower of all drive units, required utilities (air, electrical, water, etc) connections, and locations of all controls. In addition, the layout drawings must be accompanied by schematic diagrams of each piece of equipment furnished, description of the operation of the system, available manufacturer's descriptive literature, performance characteristics, test data, and drawings or photographs of all externally visible components of the equipment proposed including operators' consoles. In the event that special installation adjustments or additional equipment components not supplied by the Contractor are required for continuing operation of the equipment, these items shall be explicitly identified in accordance with paragraph 10.4 of this DID. The Contractor must furnish the Government a listing and electrical load diagram of all electrical equipment being furnished for approval prior to start of installation. This listing must include wire size, voltage drop calculations, size of conduit, circuit breakers, and power disconnects.
10.3 As Built Drawings: The as-built drawings must be 1/8 inch scale and show the installed solution and it system(s) in relation to structural features of the building, routing of utility lines and connections, location of controls, process schematics and electrical diagrams. Any changes to the solution and its system(s) configuration as depicted by any data submitted as part of the layout drawings must be marked to the attention of the Government.

| 1010 PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: 10.4 Variation in Drawing Data: If any drawing or data submitted includes a verification from the Government's requirements, including equipment proposed for brand name products referenced in the specifications, or Contractor furnished drawings or data previously approved by the Government under the contract, the Contractor must describe the variation(s) in writing, separate from the drawings or data, at the time of submission. Any change(s) to related portions of the project due to variation(s) must also be included. |
10.5 Revisions: Unless otherwise indicated by revision and date, the drawings and data submitted by the Contractor to the Government as cited within this DID will be considered the most up to date iteration. Revisions to the data and drawings must be provided by the Contractor with an accompanying summary that clearly identifies to the Government all changes at the time of submission.
