About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a rubber removal and airfield markings project (FNWZ 25-0167) for a military airfield. The project requires two-phase rubber removal at runways 16/34 and 164/344, with weekend-only work during Phase 1 and a subsequent Phase 2 to be completed 6 months later. The contractor must also paint airfield markings according to attached contract drawings and specifications, with work spanning 220 calendar days.
Key requirements include coordinating with the Contracting Officer, Airfield Management, and Civil Engineering at least 45 days prior to approved work weekends. The project is located in a controlled airfield area, necessitating tower contact during controlled movement work, radio request from Airfield Management, and escort coordination. The Civil Engineering Point of Contact is Davis Matschek (325-696-5620), and the work is subject to ongoing airfield operations with limited access and strict coordination requirements.
