About this file
This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a federal procurement opportunity. The amendment, issued on 06 Jan 2026, modifies solicitation FA466126Q00009 originally dated 11 Dec 2025. Key changes include: requiring contractors to furnish performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award, adding clause 52.228-15 "Performance and Payment Bonds-Construction", updating the questions and answers document, and extending the offer response date to 12 January 2026. The amendment also includes extensive provisions related to telecommunications equipment restrictions, specifically referencing Section 889 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act, which prohibits federal agencies from procuring certain telecommunications equipment or services from specified entities.
The document incorporates numerous Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses covering a wide range of requirements, including labor standards, equal opportunity, cybersecurity, supply chain security, and various prohibitions on contracting with specific entities. Performance and payment bonds are required to be 100 percent of the original contract price, and contractors must provide bonds from approved sureties listed in Treasury Department Circular 570. The solicitation appears to be for a construction-related contract, though specific details about the exact nature of the work are not provided in this amendment document.
