About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Antenna Preventive Maintenance services issued by the U.S. Air Force.
The solicitation (FA486126Q0028) seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive on-site LMR antenna services for tower-mounted systems at Nellis Air Force Base and Creech Air Force Base in Nevada. The scope includes structural visual inspections, high-resolution sweep testing of connectors and coaxial cabling, antenna assembly diagnostics, and delivery of formatted technical documentation detailing test results and identified anomalies. The contract is structured as a firm fixed-price agreement with a base year (September 30, 2026 to September 29, 2027) plus four optional one-year periods extending through September 29, 2031. The base year comprises two contract line items: CLIN 0001 for preventive maintenance (3 each) and CLIN 0002 for unforeseen/emergency repairs (1 lot, not-to-exceed). Identical CLINs repeat for each option year. This is a total small business set-aside with NAICS code 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing) and a 1,250-employee size standard. The offer due date is September 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. Award will be made to the responsible offeror with the lowest evaluated price demonstrating acceptable technical capability and no FAPIIS exclusions. Evaluation criteria include price reasonableness, technical acceptability against Performance Work Statement requirements, and past performance assessment. The contractor must obtain base access passes, comply with security and health/safety requirements, and utilize the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system for payment processing. Inspection and acceptance occurs at destination (FOB Destination) at both base locations.
