The vendor must provide a complete mobile crane rental with a licensed operator and certificate of insurance to perform multiple lifting operations at heights up to 277 feet above ground level, including removal of the existing SMR3 radar unit, equipment removal, lifting and placement of a weather cap assembly, installation of the new SMR4 radar, and operation of a compliant personnel lifting device (man basket/cage) for lightning arrester installation. All work must comply with OSHA regulations, EM 385-1-1 safety requirements, FAA facility access protocols, and manufacturer specifications.
The crane must be capable of lifting 6,000 pounds to a height of 277 feet with a crane tip height not exceeding 320 feet above ground level, a lift radius of approximately 130 feet in all directions, and a load-to-capacity ratio not exceeding 65 percent. The period of performance consists of 16 hours of straight time plus 8 hours of overtime, commencing seven days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, subject to weather conditions. The vendor must provide documentation within five days of contract award including CAD-generated plan and elevation view drawings, lift plan data with crane specifications, mobilization and demobilization time estimates, and a certificate of insurance. The vendor is responsible for all crane mobilization, demobilization, fuel, tolls, permits, oversized mats or pads, and any damage caused during operations.
