Statement of Work Summary: Crane Rental for ATCT Cab Glass Replacement Project

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for crane rental services supporting the replacement of twelve cab glass windows on an Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). The vendor shall provide a complete mobile crane rental with a licensed operator to lift tools, materials, specialized equipment, and replacement glass units from ground level to the ATCT cab. The crane must be capable of lifting glass units measuring 12 feet tall with a maximum lift weight of 4,000 pounds (including lifting and counterbalance devices). Key technical specifications include: cab finished floor elevation at approximately 70 feet above ground level (AGL), top of cab glass at 80 feet AGL, and a not-to-exceed crane tip height of 130 feet AGL. The crane must maintain a 360-degree lift radius of approximately 80 feet and operate at no more than 65 percent load capacity.

The vendor is responsible for mobilization and demobilization, fuel, tolls, permits, and damage liability during these activities. Prior to operations, the vendor must submit comprehensive documentation including CAD-generated plan and elevation view drawings, detailed lift plan data specifying crane specifications and load calculations, and time estimates for assembly and disassembly. The vendor must conduct a site visit and lift survey, provide proof of the licensed operator's certifications and current crane inspection reports, install a white and orange checkered flag at the boom end, furnish and install crane mats and blocking, and ensure full compliance with airport regulations. The FAA Team Lead Technician will inspect and approve all work before releasing the crane service.
