About this file
This document is a Scope of Services for Engineering Project 1182-2023 involving the City of Fort Myers, focusing on a comprehensive environmental/infrastructure project. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor and materials for construction and associated grant documentation, with specific tasks including non-vegetative and vegetative debris removal, underwater debris removal, sediment removal and transport, Ballard bank repair, weekly inspection reports, and record drawings. The bid tasks are structured with various measurement units such as cubic yards, linear feet, mileage, and a lump sum, with each task having a "Not To Exceed" (NTE) cost designation.
The project mandates extensive documentation for potential reimbursement, including detailed invoices, material records, daily employee time tracking, equipment operation logs, and weekly construction progress reports. All work must comply with federal requirements, specifically OSHA regulations and the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. While specific unit costs are not filled in, the document provides a structured framework for bidders to propose pricing for each task. The documentation requirements are rigorous, emphasizing transparency, precise record-keeping, and adherence to safety and labor standards, suggesting this is likely an environmentally focused infrastructure improvement or restoration project.
