About this file

This document is a question and answer (Q&A) regarding a state and local contract opportunity for an LED screen in Arkansas, specifically in Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock. The existing electrical setup includes three 20-amp, 120V breakers feeding plugs on the projector floor. The contractor will be responsible for providing any additional electrical work needed to make the screen operable. The existing projection panels are made of glass, approximately 1/4 inch thick. While the solicitation calls for a 30-day delivery timeline, the agency is flexible on this requirement if it can result in cost savings.

The pricing and other commercial terms of this opportunity are not explicitly stated in the Q&A. However, the agency is interested in finding a cost-effective solution that can be implemented in a timely manner to address public safety needs.

QUESTION NUMBR QUESTION SUBJECT QUESTION TEXT ANSWER TEXT

1 Existing Electricity We need to know how many circuits of what voltages are available at the proposed screen location at this time.

ADEM has three (3) 20 amp breakers feeding plugs on the Projector Floor. They are 120V.

2 Required Electricity

If existing power is not adequate will your electricians provide the power required to the screen location. Leaving the power to screen connection to be handled by our electricians.

All requirements will be the Contractor's responsibility including any and all electrical work needed to make the screen operable.

Existing Projection

Panels

Could you tell us if the 3 existing 10' x 12' panels are glass or plexiglass. If glass do you know the thickness and if it's tempered.

These are Glass Panels Approx 1/4 inch thick.

4 Delivery Timeline

How important is the 30 day delivery aspect? Some of our vendors may not be able to provide their products in that time frame. The ones that can may be more expensive. If there is flexibility in the delivery it could save the state some money.

However, we also realize in the interest of public safety that this project needs to in place as soon as possible.

We are flexible especially if it saves money.
