About this file
This document is a Q&A regarding a state and local contract opportunity in Arkansas for the procurement of an LED screen. The contract involves Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock. The key details are:
The existing electricity available at the proposed screen location includes three 20-amp, 120V circuits. All electrical work required to make the screen operable will be the responsibility of the contractor. The existing projection panels are glass, approximately 1/4 inch thick. While a 30-day delivery timeline is preferred, the state is flexible if a longer timeline can provide cost savings. The required screen power needs are either six 208V-20amp circuits or eight 110V-20amp circuits, with the breaker box located 75-125 feet from the screen location. However, there are currently three 120V-20amp circuits located one foot from the screen.
The pricing terms, funding requirements, and other salient details are not provided in this Q&A document. The contract opportunity involves a state and local government procurement in Arkansas, specifically Pulaski County and the City of Little Rock.

QUESTION NUMBR QUESTION SUBJECT QUESTION TEXT ANSWER TEXT
1 Existing Electricity We need to know how many circuits of what voltages are available at the proposed screen location at this time.
ADEM has three (3) 20 amp breakers feeding plugs on the Projector Floor. They are 120V.
2 Required Electricity
If existing power is not adequate will your electricians provide the power required to the screen location. Leaving the power to screen connection to be handled by our electricians.
All requirements will be the Contractor's responsibility including any and all electrical work needed to make the screen operable.
Existing Projection
Panels
Could you tell us if the 3 existing 10' x 12' panels are glass or plexiglass. If glass do you know the thickness and if it's tempered.
These are Glass Panels Approx 1/4 inch thick.
4 Delivery Timeline
How important is the 30 day delivery aspect? Some of our vendors may not be able to provide their products in that time frame. The ones that can may be more expensive. If there is flexibility in the delivery it could save the state some money.
However, we also realize in the interest of public safety that this project needs to in place as soon as possible.
We are flexible especially if it saves money.
5 Electrical Specifications
The screen power needs are as follows:
(6) 208V - 20Amp Circuits
OR
(8) 110V - 20Amp Circuits
Does the Breaker Box we will be connecting to have the power listed above and what is the distance from that box to the location of the screen?
For the specifications listed, you can have either and it will be between 75 to 125 feet from the screen depending on how you run the power/cable.
However, right now there are (3) 120V - 20Amp Circuits that are one foot away from the location of the screen.
