About this file

This document is Amendment 03 to Solicitation RFP LBNF-368455-BF for the Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility/Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment Central Monorail Hoist Commissioning project. The amendment addresses a specific question about warranty services for equipment resale, clarifying that absence of a warranty would be considered an exception/deviation to the proposed subcontract.

The solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to modify, install, and commission four 20-ton electric monorail hoist and trolley assemblies across North and South Caverns. Two hoists are already purchased and warehoused in Rapid City, SD, while two additional hoists will be procured through this contract. The existing trolleys require modification to fit the central rail after a proper rail survey. The proposal due date is August 8, 2025, and the solicitation is issued by Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC under the Department of Energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
