ILLUSTRATIVE TASK ORDERS

Introduction – Two illustrative construction task orders are included herein. While the two task orders illustrate the kinds of projects that might be tasked to awardees of the INP IQC, they should not be considered as average or typical of the broad range and size of projects that are described in the Statement of Work in Section C and other Sections of the RFP and which awardees of the INP IQC might be called upon to build or design and build.

The two projects described below are illustrative. They are not real and as such can not be visited and inspected. The purpose of these illustrative task orders is to provide a common framework under which Offerors can, at minimum cost, satisfy both the technical proposal and cost proposal requirements for task orders that are described in Section L of the RFP.

The technical and cost proposals received by USAID for these two task orders will be evaluated as described in Section M of the RFP. The technical proposals will be used to evaluate Offeror understanding of the general requirements of and approach to executing such a task and other factors as described in Section M. The information in the cost proposals will have a dual purpose. The first purpose is to provide USAID a basis for comparing the various costs proposed under each Task Order Bill of Quantities (Annexes A.1 and B-1). The second and equally important purpose of the cost proposal will be to provide USAID points of reference that it can use in evaluating proposals received under actual RFTOPs under awarded INP IQCs. Given this latter purpose, Offerors are cautioned to be realistic in preparing their cost proposals.

Illustrative Task Orders and Supporting Documents are grouped together beginning on the next page.
