About this file
This is an Appendix G Disaster Recovery document for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management's RFP 27006808 regarding the Reservation and Registration Management System. The appendix outlines the disaster recovery requirements and specifications that the selected vendor must implement and maintain as part of the overall software solution for managing reservations and registrations across the Department. The document establishes the technical and operational standards for business continuity planning, including recovery time objectives, recovery point objectives, backup procedures, and system failover capabilities that the vendor's solution must support. These requirements ensure that the Department can maintain critical reservation and registration functions in the event of a system failure or disaster.
The disaster recovery specifications detailed in this appendix define the minimum performance standards and compliance benchmarks that vendor proposals must meet or exceed. The appendix likely specifies recovery time commitments, data redundancy requirements, backup frequency and storage protocols, and testing procedures for disaster recovery capabilities. By establishing these requirements as a separate appendix, the Department ensures that all bidders understand the criticality of business continuity for reservation and registration operations and can accurately price and plan their proposed solutions accordingly.
