About this file

This is a pricing schedule document for Request for Proposal No. 220000002396 issued by the Michigan Department of Corrections to procure commercial dish washing machines for correctional facilities. The RFP requests equipment for ten facilities across Michigan: AMF Baraga, ARF Gus Harrison North and South, DRF Carson City East and West, LMF Alger, LRF Earnest C. Brooks, MBP Marquette, MCF Muskegon, MRF Macomb, NCF Newberry, SMT Parnall, URF Chippewa East, and LCF Lakeland. The primary equipment specified is Hobart commercial dish washing machines with various models and configurations, with one facility (NCF Newberry) requesting a Stero model. Each facility requires a maximum security correctional package with specific electrical specifications, plumbing requirements, booster heater configurations, and vent installations. All facilities have loading dock access for equipment delivery. Contractors are required to submit modifiable pricing schedules in Microsoft Excel format and must complete all pricing information during the bidder question and answer period based on site visit observations.

Contractors must provide comprehensive pricing that includes all one-time setup charges, installation fees, shipping, handling, and per-piece pricing. The proposal requires disclosure of quick payment discount terms, maintenance agreement availability and costs after warranty expiration, repair rates post-warranty, and percentage discounts for additional parts and accessories. Price proposals must certify independent pricing without collusion with other contractors. Lead times for equipment delivery and installation duration must be specified for each facility location. The document emphasizes that contractors are responsible for ensuring their bids include all required items, options, and accessories necessary for functional operation and proper installation at each specific facility, with all proposed modifications to be submitted during the designated bidder question and answer period.
