About this file
This document is a Letter of Authorization (LOA) template for the City of Oklahoma City or a related Public Trust, designed for use when a legally binding document is not signed by the statutorily authorized officer. The form provides a standardized method for an authorized agent to sign documents on behalf of a proposer, with specific guidelines for different types of business entities including corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and joint ventures.
The template outlines specific requirements for authorizing officers based on the type of business entity. For corporations, authorized signers must be officers with titles such as President, Vice-President, CEO, CFO, or Chairperson, as defined in corporate bylaws or board resolutions. For LLCs, authorized signers must have an ownership interest or be designated to manage the company according to organizational documents. The form includes spaces for the authorized agent's name, the proposer's name, the authorizing officer's signature, title, date, name, and contact information, ensuring a comprehensive and legally sound authorization process.
