About this file
This is a Price Schedule attachment (Attachment G1) for RFP 25-0010 issued by Beaverton School District 48J in Oregon for USDA Commodity Processing Pizza services. The RFP seeks qualified vendors to process USDA Foods into two primary frozen cheese pizza products: a 15.5-inch proof-and-bake pizza with whole grain crust providing 8 child nutrition servings per pizza, and a 16-inch cook-from-frozen rising crust pizza with at least 51% whole grain content cut into 8 portions. The estimated annual quantities are 375,644 servings for the proof-and-bake pizza (Item P1) and 406,948 servings for the cook-from-frozen pizza (Item P2). Both products must meet strict USDA Child Nutrition Meal Pattern requirements, including specified calorie limits, sodium restrictions, fat content limitations, and required contributions of meat/meat alternates, grains, and vegetables. The non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on December 12, 2025, at 2:30 PM PST, with proposals due by email to contracts@beaverton.k12.or.us no later than January 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM PST. The contract term runs through June 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewal terms available.
Pricing must be submitted in Microsoft Excel format without alterations to the provided template and must be exclusive of federal, state, and local taxes unless the proposer identifies specific taxes payable by the District. All pricing must be delivered freight-included to the District's distributor, with evaluation based on the Fee-for-Service per serving calculation. The price schedule requires detailed cost breakdowns including USDA Foods drawdown per case, USDA Foods value per pound (from the 2026-27 SEPDS), processing fees per case and per serving, and total costs per case and per serving for both USDA Foods and commercial items. Proposers must reference approved specified items or equal alternatives and demonstrate compliance with Buy American provisions and federal regulations. Vendors must maintain satisfactory health inspections and comprehensive insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, employer's liability, and general liability policies of $1,000,000 each. Order minimums are set at 2,500 pounds for products with shelf lives of 120 days or less and 5,000 pounds for products exceeding 120 days, with liquidated damages of $100 per day applicable for late deliveries.
