About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 to RFP 25-0010 for USDA Commodity Processing Pizza issued by Beaverton School District 48J in Oregon on January 21, 2026. The addendum clarifies specifications for processing USDA Foods into finished pizza products, with the RFP closing date remaining January 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. The addendum addresses eight key questions and answers regarding proposal submission requirements, including clarification that addenda must be acknowledged on the Proposer Certification form but need not be returned with the proposal and do not count toward the 25-page limit. Proposers must deliver products to the District's current distributor, Sysco Portland, located at 26250 SW Parkway Center Drive, Wilsonville, Oregon 97070, as the District does not maintain a central warehouse for direct manufacturer deliveries.
The addendum establishes that health inspection reports or audit certificates from local government agencies, the USDA, or USDA-recognized food safety certifying agencies such as NSF International are acceptable and must not be older than twelve months. Proposers must provide statements not exceeding one page each describing how they incorporate HACCP principles, food safety protocols, and food security measures into their standard operating procedures, and how they handle product recall procedures. The price schedule requires submission of gross case weight for products listed in Column N of Attachment G. Electronic signatures are acceptable for all signature requirements in the proposal submission. These clarifications ensure proposers understand the specific documentation, safety compliance, and submission requirements for this commodity processing contract.
