About this file

This is Amendment Number One to RFP 2026-0001-0248 issued by the State of Alaska, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Division of Administrative Services on March 18, 2026, regarding the procurement of Statewide Election Ballots. The amendment addresses an offeror's question regarding ballot packaging and mailing services. Specifically, the offeror inquired whether the state would be interested in packaging vote-by-mail ballots for insertion directly into envelopes and mailing them, noting that this is a service their company provides to other jurisdictions including Anchorage and Juneau. The state clarified that such packaging and mailing services do not apply to this solicitation and would be addressed under a separate RFP if needed.

This amendment serves to clarify the scope of work and does not constitute a mandatory return requirement for offerors. Procurement Officer Jared Miller issued the amendment from the state's procurement office in Juneau, Alaska. The amendment is not an order and offerors are advised to closely review all identified changes in the document to ensure their proposals align with the state's actual service requirements for election ballot procurement.

AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE

AMENDMENT ISSUING OFFICE:

THIS IS NOT AN ORDER DATE AMENDMENT ISSUED: March 18, 2026

This is not a mandatory return Amendment.

This amendment serves to answer an offerors question.

Please closely review all the changes identified and provided in the amendment.

Change 1: Answers offerors questions.

Our company prints and mails ballots for all of the jurisdictions we work with, including Anchorage and Juneau. We don't normally package up vote by mail ballots as we generally are inserting them directly into envelopes and mailing them. Is this a service the state would be interested in? Or is that a separate RFP?

ANSWER:

No, this would not apply to this solicitation.
