About this file
This is a cost submittal form for RFP 2026-0500-0260, issued by the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), soliciting proposals to conduct Administrative Reviews for USDA nutrition programs administered by school districts and Residential Child Care Institutions throughout Alaska. The contract requires qualified offerors to perform administrative reviews for school meal programs and summer nutrition programs across the state, with services addressing the unique challenges presented by Alaska's vast geography, extreme climate conditions, and limited population density. DEED's Child Nutrition Programs division, which consists of ten state employees, seeks contractor support to enhance program integrity, compliance monitoring, and technical assistance delivery to program sponsors across the state.
The maximum cost proposal not to exceed $1,290,000.00 must include all direct and indirect costs associated with contract performance, including travel expenses, hourly rates for personnel at various levels, direct expenses, payroll, supplies, overhead assigned to project staff, percentage allocations of personnel time, and profit margins. Offerors are required to complete and submit the cost submittal form with a detailed breakdown of all proposed costs, which represents the total amount the state will pay for services rendered. No additional charges beyond those identified in the cost proposal will be permitted once the contract is awarded.
