About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 for RFP #15-25 issued by New Smyrna Beach Utilities for an Annual Underground Utility Contractor. The addendum addresses specific vendor questions regarding the Request for Proposal, clarifying requirements such as the mandatory Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor's License in Florida. The contract appears to be a continuing services contract for utility work typically under $200,000, with projects selected as needed rather than being pre-planned.
Key clarifications in the addendum include: no liquidated damages will be applied to this contract, no retainage will be withheld, bonds are not required for smaller projects, and no pre-bid meeting will be conducted. There is no specific annual budget for the work, as funds will be made available per selected utility work needed. Professional Liability Coverage is not applicable to this solicitation. Vendors are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning the provided form with their proposal.
