About this file

This document is a Modification 1 to a Request for Information (RFI) for multiple parcels at Naval Station Great Lakes (NSGL), issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The RFI seeks industry interest in a long-term partnership opportunity to develop, redevelop, or repurpose multiple parcels of improved property, with respondents potentially entering into a real estate agreement in exchange for providing Infrastructure Kinetic Capabilities (IKC).

An in-person Industry Day is scheduled for 29 January 2026, with RSVPs required by 27 January 2026 through a Microsoft Forms link. The event will provide an overview of real estate opportunities with the federal government, outline NSGL objectives, and describe available parcels. Interested parties must submit their response to the RFI by 2:00 PM EST on 19 February 2026. The Department of the Navy intends to use the gathered information to evaluate potential property uses and determine whether to release a formal Request for Proposals (RFP). Proprietary information responses will not be publicly released or used.
