About this file
This document is a specifications list for patrol boat renovations and upgrades for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Great Lakes Enforcement Unit, specifically for the vessel named Huldah Neal. The specifications detail comprehensive maintenance and modernization work including exterior and interior repainting, replacement of propulsion systems with two Yanmar Marine Diesel Engine 4LV250 (Z) units, installation of advanced navigation electronics (Raymarine equipment including nine-inch multi-function displays, radar, and autopilot systems), and replacement of safety equipment including searchlights, sirens, and navigational lights. Additional work includes replacement of cabin seating with two Bentley Mariner shock-mitigating seats, complete electrical system upgrades with new wiring and USB outlets, HVAC system updates with air conditioning, replacement of the steering system, and installation of a new black water holding tank. The vessel must be delivered to the service area no later than November 1 and returned to the water by May 1, unless an alternate agreement is reached.
The specifications document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, bid submission deadlines, award dates, set-asides, contract term details, or funding sources. The document appears to be a technical requirements checklist format with columns for confirming whether proposed vessels meet specifications, allowing bidders to indicate compliance or note exceptions to the stated requirements. No incumbency information, current service provider details, or financial terms are included in this specifications document.
