About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for the Durango-La Plata County Airport Upper Overflow Parking Lot Reconstruction project, issued by the City of Durango, Colorado. The Q&A document contains three specific questions raised by potential bidders on 01/19/2024, addressing technical details about the project. The questions seek clarification on asphalt pavement scarification depth (12" vs. 8"), ADA sidewalk earthwork requirements, and sign support details. For each question, the response directs bidders to consult Addendum #3 and the Revised Bid Schedule dated 1/23/2024.
The document is part of the bid process for a local government infrastructure project, with sealed bids to be received by the City of Durango until Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 at 3:00 pm (Mountain Time). The Q&A document indicates that potential bidders are seeking precise technical specifications to ensure accurate bidding, which suggests the project involves complex engineering and construction requirements for airport parking lot reconstruction. The consistent reference to additional documents (Addendum #3 and Revised Bid Schedule) implies that the project specifications are being actively refined to provide clarity for potential contractors.
