About this file

This document is a Q&A Sheet related to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services for the procurement of JPMC Heavy Duty Mowers, Contract #23-416CMS-BOSS4-B-36028. The IFB covers the purchase of 6 line items of heavy duty mowers, and requires that the pricing for each line item include all freight, set up, and delivery. Additionally, the pricing must include any potential training requested by the ordering entity. Purchase orders must be made out to the contract holder directly, though they may be fulfilled through an authorized dealer. The IFB is not a multiple award solicitation, so only one bidder will receive an award for each individual line item 1-6.

The Q&A sheet clarifies that there can only be one award per line item, and that the same product cannot receive multiple awards. It also confirms that the pricing for each line item must be all-inclusive of freight, set up, delivery, and potential training.
