EXHIBIT A

State of Illinois JPMC HD Mowers Line 1 Specifications for 72-Inch, 3-Point Hitch Mount, Rotary Mower The following specifications describe the minimum requirements for a Heavy-Duty 72” rotary mower attachment. The equipment bid shall be new, of current design and manufacture, and a production model. Any additions, deletions, or variations from the following specifications must be noted, or the bid will be rejected. Any standard items appearing in the manufacturer's regular published specifications furnished by the bidder shall be included in the bid unless otherwise noted.

The machines described herein are being purchased for use with existing IDOT tractors. Current IDOT tractors are John Deere 5/6 series and Kubota M5/M6 PTO HP 75/85/94/114 tractors. It is the bidder’s responsibility to take into consideration the basic standard components (tire size, 3-point lower link lengths, PTO locations, etc.) of these tractors to ensure correct configuration for the mower to attach properly. Bids shall have necessary components included to assuredly attach to and operate regular production tractors of the two manufacturers. This includes PTO drive shaft lengths and lift points for adequate ground and tire clearance. Bidders will not be required to change specified equipment such as: Cat I in lieu of Cat II hitches.

Each bidder shall submit with their bid descriptive literature and specifications describing all the equipment and options proposed.

It is the responsibility of each bidder to complete and return this with the bid.

Unless otherwise specified, the proposed equipment shall be complete in all parts and ready for immediate use upon delivery.

Bidders are advised to carefully read these specifications as changes have been made since the last solicitation issue.
